Service & Maintenance

Serviced on a schedule, not after a failure

Every machine on your site will need work. The only choice you have is whether that happens on a planned Tuesday morning with the parts already on the van, or on a Friday afternoon with a floor that has to be clean by Monday and a technician who is three hours away.

Preventative maintenance is not an upsell. It is the cheaper of the two options, and it is the reason our customers' machines last as long as they do.

What a service plan covers

  • Scheduled visits at intervals set by your actual machine hours, not a generic calendar
  • Full inspection against the Hako service schedule
  • Wear parts replaced before they fail — brushes, blades, filters, seals
  • Battery health checks and charging system inspection
  • Safety checks, so the machine stays compliant as well as functional
  • A written report after every visit, so you can see what changed
  • Priority response when something does go wrong

Machine down right now?

Call 09 418 3761. Tell us the model, the serial number and what it is doing. We will tell you honestly whether it is a part we can courier to you today, something your team can put right over the phone, or a job that needs a technician.

After-hours service support is available for customers on a service agreement.

Nationwide, genuinely

We service machines from Northland to Southland. Our own technicians cover the upper North Island directly, and we support the rest of the country through scheduled visits and a parts network that gets components where they need to be.

If you are outside Auckland and have been told before that nationwide means "we will get there eventually", ask us for a specific response commitment for your location. We will put it in writing.

We will service machines we did not sell you

If you have inherited a mixed fleet — which most sites have — we would rather keep all of it running than only touch the Hako machines. Ask us what we can cover.

Operator training, for the life of the machine

Most machine damage we see is not mechanical. It is a machine used at the wrong setting, stored wet, charged wrong or driven into something. Cleaning teams turn over constantly, and the training you did at handover three years ago is long gone.

We train new operators whenever you need it, for as long as you own the machine.
